Poinsettia Heights is a tight-knit neighborhood in northeastern Fort Lauderdale Florida, constructed by Gill Construction Company in the 1940’s and 1950’s, originally known as “North Ridge”. With a conglomeration of primarily single family Fort Lauderdale homes as well as a few condos and townhomes, Poinsettia Heights is a great suburban community set not too far from the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Otherwise, grab a scooter, your beach bag and sunscreen and head east to AIA where you will deadend at the infamous ELBO ROOM, by now a historic landmark and of course one of the best watering holes in town!

Fort Lauderdale boasts more than seven miles of sparkling beaches. Its gone from a spring break haven to a vibrant international community and largest yachting capital of the world. Offering residents and visitors premier opportunities for recreation, relaxation and enjoyment.  You can participate in a wide range of activities from boating, wind surfing, jet skiing and volleyball to snorkeling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and rollerblading. Or, if relaxation is what you desire, simply sit back, unwind and enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean or retreat to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.
